Check to see if the Backups.mdb file exists in the path shown in the error. If the file exists but is named with a timestamp (Backups_yyyy_mm_dd-hh_mm_ss.mdb) please close the RMAD console, rename the file to Backups.mdb and open the console again.
If the file does not exist, and you do not have a backup of the file, the only option is to run a repair on the installation so a fresh Backups.mdb file is created:
1. Open Programs and Features
2. Right click Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory Forest Edition and select Change
3. Select Repair
Once the Repair operation has completed a new blank Backups.mdb file should have been created. You should then be able to open the RMAD and FR consoles. Please note, if you wish to use any backups created prior to the repair you will need to register them.
