If you try to manually create a task in Windows Task Scheduler, with the options 'Run whether user is logged in or not' and ' Run with highest privileges' enabled, you get an error that the credentials cannot be stored or "A specified logon session does not exist. It may have already been terminated.."
WORKAROUND #1:
Disable the policy setting "Network Access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication" using the below steps:
WORKAROUND #2:
Scheduled a task using the SYSTEM Account:
It will be required to disable the security policy from above to complete this workaround, after the task is created the security policy can be enabled
WORKAROUND #3:
As of version 10.3 Hotfix 2 (10.3.0.40816), it is supported the use of a gMSA account for scheduled tasks in Computer collections when "Network access: Do not allow storage of passwords and credentials for network authentication" is enabled. Refer to the "Using Manged Service Account" section of the User Guide for more information:
