1. What happens if during the migration the source email address is changed?
The migration process will request a new license for each mailbox. ODME will count migrations based on source email address.
Note: You may be required to contact your Quest Sales Representative and request new licenses.
2. Does a failed migration consume a license?
No a migration that fails doesn't consume a license. However, it will reserve a license for that migration. If when restarting a migration and that has reserved a license and none are available, it will not migrate the data again and state there are not enough licenses.
3. How many times can a user be added to a different ODME Plan?
ODME counts the number of migration of a mailbox by the account and not within the Plan. If you start a mailbox migration for the 11th time within a plan it will not migrate again. Check the ODME Reports for how many times a mailbox was migrated.
4. How many times can I successfully migrate a mailbox with ODME?
If the mailbox fails to migrate then it will not be counted as one of the 10 migrations. It will be considered as 'Failed Migration' and need to be reviewed for what caused it to fail.
5. Can the maximum successful migrations value be changed?
Note: By design ODME is not a synchronization tool. At the time of the migration it will copy the mailbox from source to target.
6. What is the payment process when prepaid codes and pay per use is used within the same ODME migration account?
Note: If an additional coupon is bought from Quest and added to the same ODME account, the next new migration will charge this new coupon and the option "pay as you go" will not used.
7. Can you stop a single mailbox that is currently migrating within a Plan?
No, you have to stop the entire plan. It will be considered a failed migration for any that have not successfully completed.
8. Can Quest perform administrative tasks on the customer's behalf?
