When setting forwarding from one Office 365 tenant to another Office 365 tenant, a copy of the email is kept in the source and forwarded to the target. Can this behavior be changed so that new email is only forwarded and a copy of forwarded emails are not kept in the source? -
Resolución
By default, ODME sets forwarding in the source Office 365 tenant to save a copy of new email as well as forward it to the target. This behavior can be very helpful so that both the source and target tenants have the most up to date information during the MX record cut-over.
STATUS
Enhancement request PT 129515015 has been submitted to the product team to consider adding an option to only forward new mail (not save a copy in the source) to a future version of On Demand Migration for Email.
