Firewall rules blocking the connection to the server
Antivirus blocking service communications
This error is indicating that Outlook is unable to communicate with the archive server to open the message. If Outlook is able to reach the archive server but unable to open the message we get error messages from the software as to a cause.
To troubleshoot we recommend checking the following:
1. Verify the workstation can ping the archive server and the IP address returned it correct
2. Verify there are no firewall rules blocking port 80 or 443 to the archive server
