Descripción
Error 4305 received during a restore operation. The LiteSpeed log will contain information similar to the following:
"RESTORE LOG is terminating abnormally."
"The log in this backup set begins at LSN #############, which is too late to apply to the database. An earlier log backup that includes LSN ########## can be restored."
"SLS::ExecSQL -> Error: 12309, Msg: SQL Server has returned a failure message to LiteSpeed 2005 which has prevented the operation from succeeding." -
Causa
The restore operation has determined that there is a gap between the last restore and the transaction log chosen for the restore.

Resolución
1. Restore the transaction logs in the same order in which they were backed up.
This error message is not a LiteSpeed 2005 message. Refer to SQL Server books online or Microsoft Technical Support for a solution:
