How to Retrieve the SMA Configuration Report (4274037)

Admins often need quick access to system and configuration details to diagnose performance issues, verify appliance health, storage pressure, or configuration anomalies.

Generate the SMA Configuration Report to get a concise snapshot of appliance and organization details for troubleshooting and health checks.

This report includes the following:

• Appliance Network: IP address, hostname, DNS, and whether SMTP, SSL, SMB, SSH, and POP are enabled.
• Uptime: Time since the last reboot.
• Disk Usage: Partition utilization and low free space indicators.
• Large Files: Largest files by path and size.
• Organizations: Organization count and device connections.
• Service Desk: Ticket volumes and recent activity.
• Patching: Patch status, schedules, and activity.
• Assets: Summary by asset type.
• Managed Installations: Deployment summaries.
• Scripting: Script counts and recent executions.
• Labels: Label usage and definitions.
• Replication: Replication settings and status.

How to Get the Report

1. Go to the appliance Support page:
   • If the Organization component is not enabled: Log in to the Administrator Console (https://appliance_hostname/admin), then select Settings > Support.
   • If the Organization component is enabled: Log in to the System Administration Console (https://appliance_hostname/system), or select System in the drop-down list in the top-right corner of the page, then select Settings > Support.
2. Under Troubleshooting Tools, click Run Diagnostic Utilities.
3. From the Troubleshooting Utility To Test dropdown menu, select SMA Configuration Report to generate and download the HTML.
