Restore Archive Manager mailboxes to PSTs via Recovery Manager for Exchange PowerShell - video (4324771)

Often there is a requirement to restore Archive Manager mailboxes to PST files and to retain folder structure. Often times too there is a need to restore multiple mailboxes at the same time.

This video demonstrates how to use Recovery Manager for Exchange PowerShell cmdlets to attach to an Archive Manager instance and restore a single mailbox as well as multiple mailboxes.

Caution: If you attempt to restore all Archive Manager mailboxes at once to individual PST files it will take a very long time and has a very high risk of running out of system resources. The suggested action would be to perform exports of smaller groups of mailboxes.

An additional Parameter which is often used but is not shown in this video is -FolderPath which is a Parameter for the Restore-RMEMailbox cmdlet.

-FolderPath specifies the path to the target folder in the storage or file where you want to place the restored mailboxes.
