It appears that the recent update to Microsoft .NET 4.8 brings with it some enhancements to the Microsoft Forms UI components. Amongst these enhancements is a change in behaviour when handling some Windows resources. While this change was noted during our upgrade, it was not made clear that this behaviour could cause Memory Leaks in Windows Graphics Resources.
We have identified that the issue occurs on all supported versions of Windows Server (2016 and 2019), it is also present on Windows Server 2012R2. Note that Windows 10 does not appear to have the same issue. It functions correctly, as it has in previous releases.
