Please confirm that Data Modeler and Mart Server are on the same version as well as backup your data before carrying out any installation or upgrades. For all upgrades, we suggest to test it in test/UAT environment before moving to production environment.

Mart Server is an essential component in erwin Data Modeler. The Mart Server is deployed on a web server and includes the software that enables communication between the Mart Database and erwin DM. (9.8 Build: 6486)
