A snapshot is a table in Toad Intelligence Central (TIC) consisting of the result set of a query, the stored SQL query, and the mapping information to the remote object. A snapshot is a copy of the data taken at a specific point in time. A snapshot is created by publishing data from a remote source (see Publish to Toad Intelligence Central).
Snapshots can be private, public, or shared with a list of users you specify.
Note: This feature is available in the Toad Data Studio Professional edition only and requires access to a Toad Intelligence Central server.
You can refresh a snapshot to reflect the current data in the source table or tables. You can refresh a snapshot manually, schedule a single refresh, or schedule a periodic refresh.
