Before installing Stat® 6.2.0, ensure that your system meets the following minimum hardware and software requirements.

Stat Environment

DBMS

Oracle® 11g R2, 12c R1, 12c R2, and 18c (Unicode and non-Unicode support for all Oracle DBMS)

Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2017 (Unicode and non-Unicode: ISO Character Set with Unicode collation. Database defined with BINARY collation)

Operating System

Windows® 7 (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows 8 (32-bit or 64-bit), and Windows 10 (32-bit or 64-bit)

Windows Server® 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, and 2016

Database Connectivity

To create a successful connection, the architecture (bitness) of the database client/driver must match the architecture (bitness) of the Stat Client. For example, the 64-bit Stat Client requires an applicable 64-bit database client/driver, and the 32-bit Stat Client requires an applicable 32-bit database client/driver.

Oracle E-Business Object Compare

Oracle E-Business object comparison is an optional feature with its own requirements. To enable object compare support for Oracle E-Business objects, a compatible version of Oracle Developer Suite and the Forms Applet Jar Files component must be installed. Additional requirements are needed for the following:
