Before installing Foglight for VMware Horizon View, ensure your system meets the following minimum hardware and software requirements.

This section provides information about problems that you might encounter while monitoring your environment using Foglight for VMware Horizon View, and describes the solutions available to troubleshoot these problems.
Summary
When the Transfer Server VM name and the Computer name are different, the VMware View Environment dashboard cannot display information about the services running on the Transfer Server. This is due to the way the view information is collected via the VMware PowerShell commandlets.

Summary
When creating a VMware Horizon View Agent using the Discovery Wizard, if the associated vCenter agent is not already monitored, the View Infrastructure tile may display duplicated connection server and security server instances in the Quick View.
Present workaround
Important: It is recommended to create the related VMware Performance Agent before creating the VMware Horizon View Agent manually or using the Discovery Wizard.

Foglight includes a licensing capability that restricts access to those features that are defined in the license. Any Management Server installation requires a license that grants access to server-specific parts of the browser interface and the features associated with them. Foglight cartridges are also license-protected. While some cartridges are covered by the base Foglight license (such as Foglight Agent Manager cartridges and Foglight for Infrastructure), others may require an additional license. Foglight for VMware Horizon View is covered by the base Foglight for Virtualization Enterprise license.
