How to configure ODME to use Office 365 Modern Authentication -

On Demand Migration for Email has been update to allow for Modern Authentication to be enabled on migration admin accounts. This article describes what is required within the ODME portal to utilize Modern Authentication. -
Lösung
The following steps will allow for configuring ODME to use the source and target admin accounts that are enabled for Modern Authentication.
- Login to the ODME portal
- Click the New Plan button at the bottom of the screen
- Enter a name for the plan and click Create Plan
- On the Connections tab choose Microsoft Office 365 from the drop menu
- Click the checkbox "Use Modern Authentication"
- Click the Sign In With Microsoft button to complete the process
Note: ODME requires permission to access resources in your organization in order to migrate mailboxes. Sign in as an administrative user who can grant consent to ODME.
The user must belong to the same Office 365 tenant and have a valid Exchange Online license.
Modern Authentication will be used to migrate the mailbox data however it currently is unable to be used to perform the set forwarding task. Please click here to review the procedure of setting forwarding when using Modern Authentication.
