When some condition is not met, NetVault Process Manager will start normally, but the WebUI will open in Safe Mode. However, sometimes the authentication process won't complete, the login screen will display an error, but there will be no indication that NetVault has entered Safe Mode.
To confirm if NetVault is in safe mode, check the content of the safemode.cfg file. If the file is missing, NetVault is working normally, and issue should be troubleshooted by other means. However, when running on Safe Mode, the file will display the following line:
