There is a problem with the 'MSI Install Wizard' link in the 'Installation Information' section of Kace SMA Managed Installations. Clicking this link on an Administrator account unexpectedly logs us out and displays an 'Access Denied' message."

Ursache
A legacy rule from a configuration policy that was phased out in version 14. The module associated with this policy is no longer supported on the SMA. The issue was reported under the defect number K1-36070.
The link that triggers it all is the kbot_msiwizard.php.

Lösung
This defect will be fixed in a future release. Please review the Release Notes document when the next version is released to verify the defect K1-30670 was resolved.
To reproduce the issue:
On the Admin Console:
1. Go to Distribution | Managed Installation
2. Click on Choose Action | New
- Add a Name to the MI
- Under Inventory, select Software
- On the Software Drop Down, select your software that contains the MSI package
- Under Associated File, select Use associated file (the name of the MSI package should show up)
3. Click on Save
4. Click on the MI just created to view its details
5. Click on the MSI Install Wizard link under Install Information
The user will be logged out of the SMA. -
