Encountered an error during upgrade at Databases dashboard: "Failed to update SQL PI components" when attempting to update a SQL Server based PI repository using an Infobright version of the SQL Server or Oracle database cartridges.
Since customer is on new SQL Server PI, SQL Server or Oracle cartridge 188.8.131.52 should be used as opposed to 184.108.40.206 because it is not compatible with new SQL Server PI repository.
The following steps were taken to resolve the issue:
1. contact Quest Support to download and install SQL Server or Oracle cartridge 220.127.116.11
2. reset DB_SQL_Server or DB_Oracle cartridge 18.104.22.168 from Administration | Cartridges | Cartridge Inventory
3. navigate to Databases dashboard to complete upgrade from the wizard (manually hit F5 to refresh the page if no DB agents appearing)
