After reboot, OS is not recognized, asking to choose language on DL4300 -
Beschreibung
After rebooting DL4300 appliance, instead of booting to OS, machine boots to "select your language" screen -
Ursache
Changed hard drives list in BIOS, causes SDCARD to move to the top position. DL4300 is trying to boot from RASR image on SDCARD instead of OS on 2x300GB HDDs. -
Lösung
There's no need to perform a factory reset to restore OS to working state. To resolve the issue please do the following:
- reboot DL appliance and press F2 during the boot sequence, to access System Setup
- click on Boot Settings
- click on Hard Disk Sequence and use + to move PERC controller to the top position
- click Back several times and save changesDL4300 will boot to to OS normally
