How to configure the Change Auditor Coordinator or Change Auditor Agent to use a specific Global Catalog server
Some environments may have a firewall / port blocking issue and require a Global Catalog server be manually specified, or the GC being automatically selected is remote to the Coordinator
In some instances, the Coordinator will log multiple LDAP Invalid Server Reference warnings while enumerating the server topology, and the Deployment tab does not recognize all server or the DCs as DCs.
The key below can be modified on a Change Auditor Coordinator server's registry, to specify the FQDN to a preferred DC/GC for the Coordinator service to use.
Please note, this will also force a Change Auditor 6.x and above Client to use the same GC
The key below can be modified on a Change Auditor Agent server's registry to specify the FQDN to a preferred DC/GC for the Agent service to use
NOTE: if you are using an older version, the registry path may contain a non-quest branding. Also, check DNS records. Check if DCs are able to be queried properly or not.
