Description
When attempting to upgrade Content Matrix, the process terminates with error saying older components could not be removed. -
Cause
This typically occurs when the user who installed the product has had their Windows profile removed, and the Windows Installer cannot access the original installation files. -
Resolution
This is a recommended tool from Microsoft to remove old entries.
