Copy content from one server to another where firewalls are involved.
Description
Content fails to copy from one server to another due to a firewall in the environment.
Resolution
Perform the following to troubleshoot the issue
Confirm that the user can access the SharePoint sites using a browser. If not, user will not be able to perform any operation with Content Matrix until it is resolved.
Contact the environment's network administrator for assistance.
Verify if there are proxy settings in the browser. If yes, fill out the fields in the Proxy Options tab when creating a connection in Content Matrix.
When connecting remotely, make sure the IP address of the WFE itself, not the Load Balancer address, was put into the local Hosts file of the machine where Content Matrix is installed.
