What is the impact of re-installing Collaboration Services (QCS)?

QCS is not difficult to re-install - this can be done with little to no impact to the Global Address Lists involved. Therefore, in some cases this is preferable to troubleshooting a complex issue. The stub objects will remain in Active Directory. However, they will be moved out of current QCS OU used for stubs into another to maintain GAL presense of users.
Warning: Do *not* remove any subscriptions or publications before uninstalling - this will remove the objects from the GAL.
Even if QCS is re-installed on a completely different machine, all that is needed to restore functionality is:
The only impact is that the GAL will not be updated during the time required to uninstall and re-install QCS.
