Moving Published OU -
Description
Attibutes not replicating after source OU move. rPublication was updated with new OU location however email address field for most of the user accounts under this publication is not replicating -
Resolution
Once the Published Container has been moved in AD, you will need to remove it from the publication, and then add it to the publication from it's new location. When finished you will need to republish the collection.
- Move the OU in Acitive Directory Users and Computers
- Open the Collaboration Services Console
- Expand the Publications folder
- Right Click the Publication and click Edit
- Remove the container form the Publication
- Add the container to the publication from it's new locations
- Complete the collection wizard
- Right click the Publication and select "Republish | Everything"
Once the Collection is completely republished, monitor the Events and Statistics to ensure that the data publishes to branch offices without error.
