A user needs to prevent the conversion of Notes doclinks pointing to a specific server (e.g., notes://dominoserver/...)
into HTTP links. Currently, all Notes doclinks are being converted globally, but the user wishes to maintain the Notes format for links to this particular server while converting other doclinks as usual.
The current CMN configuration does not provide the functionality to selectively exclude specific doclinks from being converted. The options available are to apply settings globally, affecting all Notes doclinks without the ability to filter or exclude based on specific patterns or servers.
Based on the available configuration options in Coexistence Manager for Notes, there are two approaches:
Point All DocLinks to Domino:
This configuration maintains the original Notes doclink format (notes://dominoserver/...)
for all links, ensuring that no conversions to HTTP occur. However, this is a global setting, meaning it applies to all Notes doclinks and does not allow selective exclusions.
Point DocLinks to SharePoint:
In this setup, all Notes doclinks are converted to HTTP links for integration with SharePoint. Unfortunately, CMN does not currently support conditional exclusions to keep certain links, such as those pointing to a specific server, in the original Notes format. It's an all-or-nothing configuration.
At present, Coexistence Manager for Notes does not support excluding specific Notes doclinks from conversion based on patterns or server addresses. Users can either choose to maintain all doclinks in their original Notes format or convert all to HTTP, but there is no option for selective conversion.
