CMN configuration is complete and Domino LDAP configuration is allowing successful reads from the Domino Directories but an Exchange to Domino Directory Connector does not perform any writes to the Domino LDAP.
In this scenario, it was a requirement for the writes to update a secondary LDAP directory in Domino only and not the primary, this failed despite LDAP writes being enabled in the Domino servers . The problem was caused by the LDAP server reporting a lack of write access to the secondary directory.
To resolve this issue we created a configuration document within the secondary directory that had LDAP writes enabled. The following technote from IBM describes other factors that effect write access to a secondary directory and provides a reference on how to resolve this Domino LDAP problem:
