How To: Sync ShortName/UID field of the Person Document to Active Director as part of proxyAddress (4211496)

Current Notes to Exchange Attribute Mapping is designed to sync Notes Person Document InternetAddress value to ActiveDirectory as proxyAddress.

In addition to that you would like to sync ShortName/UID field of the Notes Person Document as part of the mail-enabled contact's proxyAddress.

1- Find the designated connector

2-Right click and select Advanced Settings

3-Find Notes to Exchange Attribute Mapping Tab

4- Select Add

•  Key:proxyaddresses | Value:smtp:{uid}@domain.com
  • This will bring shortname/uid@domain.com as an additional proxyAddress

5- Select OK

After adding the above custom mapping, the default mapping will be overwritten. As a result, default mapping will need to be re-added.

From the same Notes to Exchange Attribute Mapping Tab:

1- Select Add

• Key:proxyaddresses | Value:smtp:~mail~

2- Select OK

If you are using Internal Routing Domain

1- Select Add

• Key:proxyaddresses | Value:SMTP:~smtpname~@subdomain.domin.com
  • If you are not using Internal Roution Domain, please disregard above

Save | Active | Perform a new sync
