Menu text and icons are blurry, very small, and/or truncated -
Description
When using a super high-resolution display, it causes display issues. Some of these issues are...1) Some print is too small to read.2) Some print is cut off or distorted or blurred.3) Dialog windows are cut off or shrunk down. Some windows are able to be resized to make it better, but not all.4) Some icons are shrunk down, which also shrinks down the cursor when hovering over them.These issues occur in the Object Explorer, Query Builder, Automation, Import Wizard, and Export Wizard.
Here is an example from one product as to what it may look like. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND #1:1) Make sure the product is closed.2) Right-click on the shortcut or .exe file you are using to launch the product and select Properties.3) In the Compatibility tab, click the 'Change high DPI settings' button.4) Check the 'Override high DPI scaling behavior' option and make sure 'Scaling performed by' is set to Application.WORKAROUND #2:1) Right-click on the desktop and select Display Settings.2) Adjust the 'Scale and Layout' settings, like 'Change the size of text, apps, and other items' and/or 'Display Resolution' to see if a different combination resolves the issue.Toad supports screen resolutions up to 3200 x 1800 and display DPI settings up to 150%. It can work at higher resolutions, but please restart the machine and then try launching on the preferred monitor, as Toad remembers the resolution and DPI settings from the previous time it was run.STATUS:
This issue is fixed in Toad Data Point 5.1.6. This version can be downloaded from the downloads section of our website, which you can access by clicking here.
Waiting for an enhancement to be implemented to resolve these types of issues for other products. -

Additional Information
Although most of the things related to DPI were improved for Toad Data Point 5.1.6, we still do not fully support resolution over 125%.
The Help | About window may not display correctly because it is a bitmap. When you scale it, it just goes wrong. We have had discussions about changing this, but have not been able to implement it.
