Change Auditor Agent fails to initialize due to misidentifying the OS version
Description
After installing the Change Auditor Agent it may fail to initialize and a warning similar to the following logged in the NPSrvHost.exe.nptlog under C:\Program Files\Quest\Change Auditor\Agent\Logs: 2023-03-29 12:38:07.221 [4472][WARN][Trogdor::NPSrvHost::ChangeAuditorModule::Load(80)] Exception caught while loading ChangeAuditor: Unable to load module ChangeAuditorWks.dll. Error: The specified module could not be found. TorzagLib::Components::LoadedComponent::Load.
Cause
The Agent installer misidentifies the OS and installs the wrong package (the workstation package). Change Auditor Agent service fails to start and only NPSrvHost.exe.nptlog and NPSrvWatchdog.exe.nptlog are being produced.
Resolution
This issue has been resolved in the latest release of Change Auditor
