we are trying to connect old database with latest upgraded Change Auditor Client, but its failed with following error.
2022-05-24 14:24:48.874 [9][ERROR][ChangeAuditor.Sys.DataAccess.Connect(0)] Login failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication.
Resolution
Rather than using an appropriately permissioned normal account in this scenario the account has the "Deny logon over the network" option set. This is not covered on the documentation so a defect was logged to update the documentation.
