Change Auditor 6.5 Agent installed but will not start on a Domain Controller -
Description
After upgrading ChangeAuditor, the agent installed and it was successful, but in the Change Auditor Client shows agent status as "Never".
The ChangeAuditor.dll.nptlog lists the following errors and warning:

Resolution
Uninstall the ChangeAuditor agent using the following steps:
- Open Service.msc.
- Stop Dell ChangeAuditor Agent service or you may be forced to use the Task Manager to stop the NPSrvHost.exe process.
- Open Command Prompt as administrator and run: sc DELETE NPSrvHost
- Refresh service and verify the services have been removed
- Remove the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\<GUID>. Where <GUID> is the subkey that has the ProductName value listed as: Quest Change Auditor Agent 6 (x64). Click on each key to find the one with this product name.
- Remove the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall. Where <GUID> is the subkey that has the Display name Value as: Quest Change Auditor Agent 6 (x64). Click on each key to find the one with this product name
- Delete the folder C:\Program Files\Quest\ChangeAuditor.
- Once the Agent has been completely removed, return to the Change Auditor Deployment Tab and push out the agent again.
Please note: If you have an older non-Quest branded version of Change Auditor, the folder path will include the non-Quest branded name instead of ‘Quest'
Quest Software does not provide support for problems that arise from improper modification of the registry. The Windows registry contains information critical to your computer and applications.
