There is concern about how large a single database would get for both ChangeAuditor for Active Directory and ChangeAuditor for Windows File Servers events. Can these events be split between two databases to keep searching efficient and individual database sizes down?
Currently, you can not use multiple databases in one ChangeAuditor install. The resolution for this case would be to setup separate installs of ChangeAuditor.
* One Coordinator and set of agents and database per install name.
* Databases could be on the same SQL server.
* If ChangeAuditor for Active Directory and ChangeAuditor for Windows File Servers were separated in this way, one wouldn't be able to audit both on the same server as agents are only assigned to one install and you can only have one agent per server.
