Requested registry access is not allowed error when trying to access archive database directly -
Description
During a connection to an Archive DB the error "Requested registry access is not allowed" is displayed. -
Cause
User Account Control (UAC) is preventing the CA Client from accessing the local registry as required. -
Resolution
Right-click and 'Run as Administrator' the CA client or disable UAC while updating archive databases.
