P365 - Changes to attribute are not allowed for object because it's part of a Power365 project -
Description
A situation may arise when an object is part of a Tenant to Tenant P365 project but is also synced by a workflow in P365 Directory Sync. When this occurs the object is locked to the environment/endpoint used by the T2T Workflows and changes to attributes are prevented with the following error Changes to attribute xxxxxxx are not allowed for object CN=xxxxx\, xx,OU=xxx,OU=xxx,DC=xxxx,DC=com because it's part of a Power365 project -
Cause
This is by design to prevent another workflow from making changes to mail attributes and causing mail flow issues -
Resolution
If there is a requirement to sync other attributes of these objects then a new environment with a new agent should be created and those objects read in against that environment. Care should be taken to ensure that critical mail attributes are removed from the mappings within the template to ensure that the changes made by T2T are not overwritten
