The AA console fails after attempting to access the Auditing & Alerting | Audit Reports module.
The user who is running the Active Administrator console does not have write access to the " C:\Program Files\Quest\Active Administrator\LOGGING" location.
WORKAROUND:
Ensure that all users accessing the console are granted Full Control or Read/Write/Execute permissions for the C:\Program Files\Quest\Active Administrator\LOGGING folder, enabling the users to write to the log file.

RESOLUTION:
Upgrade to the latest version of AA, the issue was resolved in version 8.8.
