Error trying to exclude users and groups from inactive accounts

If we have some MAC users which are using the windows account as well, but they use this account not too often, so this account gets inactive more frequently, so created one group and added those users in that group. While we are adding this group in exclusion of inactive account, we get the error message below. We can add OU in exclusion but not any groups and also, we cannot edit any other exclusions as well.

Error: 

"The Program cannot open the required dialog box because it cannot determine whether the computer named "domain name" is joined to a domain. Close this message and try again."
