Active Directory Health Agent with Orphaned DC -
Description
After manually uninstalling the Active Administrator Health Agent from a DC and removed it from the analyzer agents, the agent can't be reinstalled. When trying to add again the DC it would not be listed in the Domain Controllers with a pending agent installation, because it still appears under Monitored Domain Controllers tab from the Agents module. -
Cause
The record for the Domain Controller record still appears in tblDADomainController and tblDAAgent tables from Active Administrator database. -
Resolution
- Delete the record from the tblDADomainController and tblDAAgent tables in Active Administrator database related to the Domain Controller that is still showing on the Monitored Domain Controllers tab.
- Reopen the Active Administrator console and proceed to install the agent -
Additional Information
Before performing any changes directly on the databases, it is highly recommended to create a Full Backup of Active Administrator databases prior to executing the changes.
