Description
Trying to create a new archive database or use an existing one after some issues with the SQL server and can't get to connect to an old one or create a new one getting the same error for both "The Selected database does not appear to be a valid Active Administrator" -
Cause
Activeadministrator.xml file corrupted. -
Resolution
Go to "C:\Program Files\Quest\Active Administrator\Server" rename the activeadministrator.xml to activeadministratorbak.xml then run the configuration wizard and chose the databases to use or create a new one.
