Unable to recover Active Directory objects more than 30 days old -
Description
Administrator desires to restore an object from the Active Directory backups. However, the Recovery | Object Recovery tab only shows backups going back 30 days. -
Cause
Within the Active Administrator Console | Recovery | Purge Backups | Schedule has the "Keep only 30 day(s) of Active Directory backups" set.

Resolution
Open Active Administrator Console | Recovery | Purge Backups | Schedule and change the value for 'Schedule Active Directory Backup Purge' to a larger value.
Many sites use the value 180 as Microsoft tombstones objects that have been deleted for a period longer than 6 months.
If possible in the environment, have the 'missing' backup files restored from network backups. Each LDAP backup consists of 4 files:
[Timestamp].zip[Timestamp].xml[Timestamp].log[Timestamp].dat
Copy the recovered files to the 'ActiveAdministrator\ADBackups\[Domain Name]l' share. By default, the ActiveAdministrator share is created at the root of C:\ during installation of the application.
