Go to the path “C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Active Administrator\Workstation Logon Audit Agent” on the workstation. There should be a file there called “AAEventDefinitions.xml”. If the file does not exist, it means that there is no communication between the agent and the Active Administrator Foundation server service.
On the workstation, go to START - Run - Regedit.
Browse to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Quest Software\Active Administrator\Settings”.
Verify the AFSPort, AFSServer, and EnableWorkstationAuditAgent have the correct data values. If the values do not exist, create them.
