Cannot connect to Active Administrator after renaming the server -
Description
Active administrator will no longer accept connections once the server has been renamed, either locally or from other console installations. -
Resolution
After you rename the server, restarting the service is not enough.
Run through the "AA Configuration Wizard" again, which is under the "Quest" folder of the start menu.
Specify the same databases and service account info as before, and leave everything else unchanged.
This will reinstall the services, connection points, and change a few other configuration settings.
After running this, you should now be able to connect to the server again.
