The service control is built right into the Fglam.exe binary, and when running "fglam.exe -help" all the options will be displayed. The options are:

-s,--start | Start the FglAM |
-q,--stop | Stop the running FglAM process |
-w,--wait | When sending a shutdown message to the FglAM process, wait indefinitely for it to exit |
-i,--install-service | Installs the FglAM as a Windows service |
-r,--remove-service | Stops and removes FglAM Windows service |
-b,--start-service | Starts the FglAM Windows service |
-j,--jvm-argument | Set an option to be passed directly to the Java VM. Can be use multiple times to set more than one VM option. |
-p,--classpath | Adds entries to the classpath used by the Java VM. This is optional as the default classpath will already be set. |
-v,--version | Display the version number for this program and exit |
-t,--thread-dump | Requests a thread dump from the running application. This is written to a separate log file in the application's installation directory |
--support-bundle | Requests a support bundle from the running application. The support bundle will be created in an application specific location. |
-h,--help | Show this information and exit |
-l,--location | Sets the location of the state directory for this instance of Foglight Agent Manager. If none is provided, the default location of "state" is used. Relative names are resolved against the default state directory. |
--create-state | Creates the user specified state directory and populate it with default configuration files. This will fail if the directory already exists. |
