Occasionally a VDI will show up as ‘Not Ready’ in the logon State column, to fix this, one option customers use it to manually power cycle the VDI.
You can use the vWorkspace powershell module to automate many tasks.
The vWorkspace powershell reference specific for logon state but there does not appear to be any value equivalent to ‘not ready’ http://wiki.vworkspace.inside.quest.com/index.php/QVW.LogonState_%287.6.305.0019%29
The value of unknown does not select ‘not ready’ VDIs. I have searched various other ‘qvw’ references but cannot find anywhere to programmatically search for VDIs in a ‘not ready’ state.
How To
The value that you should look for is the staus "VmPending"

The "not ready" machine shows as "VmPending"
