You may receive the error "The SQL server and/or instance name you specified could not be verified. Make sure the SQL server and instance names are spelled correctly" when installing the Spotlight on Exchange 5.8 Console and Diagnostic services.
原因
This can be caused if the Spotlight on Exchange database is installed on a SQL 2005 cluster and the account being used to install Spotlight on Exchange 5.8 is not a local administrator on the active SQL cluster node.
解决办法
Add the account being used to install Spotlight on Exchange 5.8 to the local administrators group on the active SQL cluster node
