Our understanding of Hadoop is it is deployed on top of Cassandra to perhaps view the update data in real time. We are not sure if it modifies the database or extends the schema in anyway. Or, if the Hadoop reports off the UCA data before moving data into Hadoop. Not enough investigation has been performed regarding UC-Analytics, Cassandra and Hadoop. It is not a supported configuration. If you happen to get it to work it may not be supported. Quest does not guarantee support for a Hadoop/Cassandra configuration.
You can however run raw queries against the Cassandra database using the methods described in the "Resource Kit.pdf" guide supplied with UC-Analytics.
