Getting error "Couldn't change association "SQL File" when trying to associate the extension 'sql' in the options panel.
If a Power User installs Toad, a Restricted User cannot associate file extensions.
This is explained in the user requirements section in the Release Notes
RESOLUTION
Please connect as an Admin user, associate the extension and the connect again as the restricted user
