Password prompt always appears with Proxy Login and Smartcard / Enterprise User Security in 12.8

In 12.6 or 12.8, the password prompt always appears when connecting with a proxy user with a Smartcard, but it worked ok in older versions:
When using Enterprise User Security with certificates stored on Smartcards to login to Oracle databases, in Toad version 12.1 you could login with a proxy username like e.g. "[app_owner]" and a blank/empty password.
With Toad 12.6 or 12.8 that does not work anymore and Toad keeps prompting for a password.
解决办法
WORKAROUND: Enter a single "space" character as the password, then proxy login works.
STATUS: Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
This issue is fixed in the 12.9 beta version, available here
