What is the new Generative AI - AI Explain feature of Toad and how to use it? (4375221)

User is receiving the message: "AI is disabled for your license" when invoking the AIExplain feature icon. After Refresh License, they receive the message "Unfortunately your access to AIExplain could not be verified.". How to enable the AIExplain feature in Toad?

In Toad version 2024.2 Subscription edition, a new generative AI feature - AIExplain has been introduced. Using the power of AI, Toad examines your code providing an explanation of its purpose. Learn more about AI and Toad at Toad World.

Note: AI Explain is only available to Subscription license holders. Term license holders are excluded to use this feature.

To use the feature:

1. Verify your Toad license and version from Help | About window: 

• The product name should state Subscription and AI Enabled. For example: "Toad for Oracle Base AI Enabled Subscription". See below attached screenshot.
• The version number must be v2024.2 or higher. Versions 17.1 and below must be upgraded. 

2. For entitled users using the right version of Toad, the feature is only accessible to those who have enabled it via the online License Portal.  A license administrator can follow the steps in the below attached document or view video for configuration steps.

3. Once the feature has been enabled, you will receive an email about feature activation. In Toad retry AIExplain icon (or click Refresh License) to start using the feature.
