In the database there are attachments/BLOBS of the following file types:
Jpg – bmp – xls – xlsx – doc – docx – pdf – msg – gif – vsd – txt – zip – png – htm - csv
Optim archives and compresses them into proprietary files. But when queried we were hoping we could see what's in the attachment just as we see other data columns. We certainly have software that can read those file types but it is unclear how to save and how as each particular file type. Just the BLOB column?
- Toad Data Point doesn’t have the tool to display that data on the screen.
- What you can do, is click BLOB and save the file as .xls ie…
- Once you save the file, it can be view or open outside Toad Data Point, in your case using Excel
