About Toad Edge®
Toad Edge® is a database management application that allows you to perform database administration tasks with ease.
Toad Edge® allows you to:

- Obtain detailed information about your databases

New features of Toad Edge
In Toad Edge®2.7, the following new features were implemented:
General features
Repository Support
- PostgreSQL will now support Repository(VCS) alongside MySQL/MariaDB.
Database features
Support for PostgreSQL 15
- Toad Edge now supports full-fledged features of PostgreSQL 15.
Support for Amazon Redshift Support
- Toad Edge now offers a limited level of support connecting with the Amazon Redshift database.
4370937 article contrasts the features which Redshift doesn’t offer but PostgreSQL/EDB does.
Support for MariaDB 10.7, MariaDB 10.8, MariaDB 10.9, MariaDB 10.10
- Toad Edge now supports connecting with MariaDB 10.7,10.8,10.9, and 10.10.
The following is a list of enhancements implemented in Toad Edge 2.7
- Toad Edge now supports MySQL JDBC 8.0.23 and later drivers
- Toad Edge now officially supports Redshift
- Toad Edge now officially supports MariaDB v10.10, v10.9, v10.8, and v10.7
- PostgreSQL will now support file based VCS (repository)
- Toad Edge will now support PostgreSQL 15
- Added instructions in installation guide so that users can configure their own PersonalFolder
