Transport Process Running Alarm
Problem
Zero Transport Processes are running. Transport Processes have stopped for some reason.
This is a measure of Log Network Server processes that package Redo Log data on the Primary to send to the Standby. This alarm impacts Recovery Point Objective.
Cause / Solution
- Did you stop the Transport Processes on purpose (the Log Network Server)?
- You could start it up again.
- Check V$Dataguard_Status
- Check the Alert logs on the Primary or Standby. You can use Spotlight on Oracle or Spotlight on Oracle RAC or you can query the server.
